Hat for Dan

This hat is for my brother, Dan, for his birthday. I made it in about an evening- it's a pattern from The Happy Hooker, by Debbie Stoller. The buttons were the most expensive part- $2.49 EACH at Windsor Button. !

Plastic Bag Mat

This is a mat I made at 2am one day out of plastic bags. It was inspired by the paper bag mat in "Ready-Made", but since none of the stores around me gives out paper bags (grr) I had to use plastic. The trouble is that it's pretty loose- it's not spill-proof. If i made it again I'd use all skinny strips and weave them tighter.
